アレク・ノーヴ

アレク・ノーヴ（英語: Alec/Alexander Nove、1915年11月24日 - 1994年5月15日）は、イギリスの経済学者。専門は、ロシア(ソ連)経済史。

経歴

1915年、アレクサンドル・ノヴァコフスキー（ロシア語: Александр Яковлевич Новаковский、英語: Aleksandr Novakovskii）として帝政ロシアのペトログラードに生まれる。ロシア革命後両親に連れられイギリスに移住、イギリス国籍を取得し、苗字をノーヴに改名する。

ロンドン・スクール・オブ・エコノミクスでハロルド・ラスキに師事し、1936年に同校を卒業。イギリス陸軍(1939-46年)、イギリス商務省(1947-58年)勤務を経て、ロンドン大学ロシア社会・経済研究院(Russian Social and Economic Studies)で教鞭をとる(1958-63年)。1963年から1982年までグラスゴー大学教授を務めた。英国学士院会員。
