アンソニー・ジュリアン・ハクスリー
アンソニー・ジュリアン・ハクスリー（Anthony Julian Huxley、1920年12月2日 - 1992年12月26日）はイギリスの園芸家、園芸雑誌編集者、植物学者である。動物学者のジュリアン・ハクスリーの息子で、トマス・ヘンリー・ハクスリーのひ孫になる。
略歴 編集
父親のジュリアン・ハクスリーはロンドン動物学会の事務局長として働いたので子供時代はロンドン動物園で父親と過ごした[1]。ケンブリッジ大学のトリニティ・カレッジで学び、戦争のために空軍や航空省で働いた後、1949年から週刊園芸雑誌、"Amateur Gardening"に携わり、1867年から1971年まで編集の仕事を続けた[1]。王立園芸協会の4巻の園芸事典"New Royal Horticultural Society Dictionary of Gardening"(1992)の主編集者の一人となった。1991年には王立園芸協会の副会長を務めた[1]。
