中央アフリカで国語として使われている言語

サンゴ語(サンゴご、yângâ tî sängö)は、植民地時代に中央アフリカを支配していたフランス共和国の言語フランス語と現地語のンバンディ語（英語版）が混淆して形成された、中央アフリカ共和国の国語（事実上の共通語）である。中央アフリカ共和国の他にチャドやコンゴ民主共和国でも話される。1960年代の中央アフリカ共和国の首都であるバンギで醸成された。

サンゴ語には160～500万人の話者がいるが、サンゴ族の部族言語であるサンゴ語（話者約40万人）と深い関係のある言語である。

口蓋破擦音は外来語や一部の方言に現れる。[2] また一部の方言では次に示す括弧内の子音の代替がある。 ([ᶬv]と[m], [ᵐb]と[ᵑ͡ᵐg͡b], [ᵐb] と[b], 語中の[l]と[r], 語頭の[h]と[ʔ])[2] [ᶬv]は滅多に現れない。[2]
