ヌバック
ヌバック（英語: Nubuck[1]）は、銀面（外側の面）に紙やすりをかけて短いタンパク質繊維を毛羽立たせて（ナップ仕上げ）ビロードのように仕上げたトップグレインレザー（革）である[2]。摩耗に強く、色は白色あるいは着色される[3]。
ヌバックはスエードと似ているが、スエードが裏面を起毛させているのに対して、ヌバックは皮の外側から作られ、より高い強度と厚み、きめ細かい銀面が得られる。一般的にスエードよりも高価であり、やすり掛けと刻印（スタンピング）工程を隠すために強く染色しなければならない。
ヌバックの特性はアニリン革と似る。触り心地は柔らかく、用意に引っ掻き傷が付き、水滴で一時的に色が暗くなる（乾燥させると色は元に戻る）。靴や自動車の内装がヌバックの最も一般的な商業利用である。
Nubuck（ニューバック）という英単語はおそらくnew（新しい）+ buck(skin)（バックスキン）に由来する[4]。
