Pima Air & Space Museum - Weighted down with a couple of concrete blocks to save this big wing from blowing away in the desert wind, this WB-57 is also fitted with 'Traffic Cone' shaped winglets just for good measure ;-). The RB/WB-57's are equipped with two additional turbojet engines to assist at altitudes over 40,000ft. The main engines are P&W JT3's (as on the B707) aka TF-33. That big wing is over 120' in span. Remarkable to think that this is basically a radically modified Canberra at heart, the design dating back to the early 1950's.
