アレックス・ガーランド（Alex Garland、1970年 5月26日 - ）は、イングランドの小説家、脚本家、映画プロデューサー、映画監督である。ダニー・ボイル監督とのコラボレーションで知られている^[1]。

経歴編集

1970年、ロンドンに生まれる^[2]。マンチェスター大学を卒業^[3]。2002年、ダニー・ボイル監督のホラー映画『28日後...』の脚本を手がける^[4]。2012年には、ピート・トラヴィス監督のアクション映画『ジャッジ・ドレッド』の脚本を手がけた^[5]。2015年、『エクス・マキナ』で映画監督デビューを果たし^[6]、アカデミー脚本賞にノミネートされる。
