インキュバス（Incubus）は、アメリカ合衆国のロックバンド。1991年に結成され、1995年にデビュー。2022年10月時点で全世界での売上枚数は2300万枚を超える[7]。

略歴 編集

1991年、ブランドン・ボイド、ホゼ・パシーヤス、マイク・アインジガー、アレックス・カツニッチの4人で結成。

1995年、自主制作アルバム『Fungus Amongus』を発表しデビュー。同年、DJキルモアが加入し、2003年にカツニッチのアレックスが脱退、その後ザ・ルーツのギタリストであったベン・ケニーがベーシストとして加入。

2006年11月26日、6作目のアルバム『ライト・グレネイズ』を発売。Billboard 200で自身初の首位を獲得。

2011年7月6日、日本で前作から5年ぶりとなるアルバム『イフ・ノット・ナウ，ホエン?』が先行発売され、同月30日は7年半ぶりの来日で『フジロック・フェスティバル'11』に初出演[8]。

2022年、ケニーが脳腫瘍と診断され、摘出手術を受ける。以降、2024年に脱退するまで療養のために休養[9]。

2023年、ケニーが病気療養中のため、1月はタル・ウィルケンフェルド、4月からはニコル・ロウが代役で参加した[10]。

2024年2月6日、ケニーの脱退に伴い、ロウが正式なメンバーとして加入することが発表される[11][9]。
