ジェフ・ミルズ
ジェフ・ミルズ（Jeff Mills、1963年6月18日 - ）は、アメリカのテクノミュージシャン、DJ。ミシガン州デトロイト出身。デトロイト・テクノ初期のアーティストの一人。
経歴 編集
1980年代前半、The Wizard名義にてDJのキャリアをスタート。デトロイトのFM局WJLBやクラブではヒップホップやディスコ、ニュー・ウェイヴ等の曲をミックスした。1980年代後半は、インダストリアルバンド Final Cutで活動した。
1989年にUnderground Resistance（アンダーグラウンド・レジスタンス、略称UR）をマッド・マイクと結成するが、1992年に脱退。その後、ニューヨーク、シカゴと活動の拠点を移し、Robert HoodとAxisを立ち上げる。
TresorからのアルバムとAxisのリリースでミニマルテクノを確立した。
日本国内でのDJ、ライブ活動で最も有名なのが、WIREへの出演である。WIRE01から04まで、4年連続して登場していた。
