Wrong image/definition of omega-numbering 編集

Apologies for writing in English. I noticed that several images for carbon numbering is wrong, and the text is probably wrong too. In the omega-notation, the carbons are numbered "ω", "ω−1", "ω−2", etc. That is, "ω−1" is the next-to-last carbon, not the last one. See File:Fatty acid carbon numbering.png for the correct image, and [1] for the correct explanation. All the best, --Jorge Stolfi会話2020年9月1日 (火) 03:12 (UTC)返信

Thank you for your suggestion. I think it is a notational problem;
"ω" = "ω1"
"ω−1" = "ω2"
"ω−2" = "ω3" ...
My Japanese dictionary of biochemistry (ISBN 9784807906703) includes both notation. - NEON会話2020年9月1日 (火) 04:32 (UTC)返信
