• German steel helmet Stahlhelm used by the military Order Police (Ordnungspolizei), the uniformed Police forces of Nazi Germany, with a shield-shaped police-style wreathed national emblem (Hoheitsabzeichen, Polizei Adlerschild für Stahlhelme) decal (Abziehbild für die Polizeistahlhelm) on the left side and a swastika flag decal on the right.
  • "World War II German Police Units" by Gordon Williamson: The full range of steel helmet styles as used in the armed forces (Wehrmacht) and paramilitary units were also issued to the Police. Police helmets featured a shield decal on the left-hand side with a silver Police national emblem on black, and on the right a red shield with white disc and black swastika.
