マイケル・ドイル
アメリカの国際政治学者 (1948-)
マイケル・ドイル（英語：Michael W. Doyle、1948年 - ）は、アメリカ合衆国の国際政治学者。コロンビア大学教授。
ハワイで生まれ、スイスおよびフランスで幼少期を過ごす。1977年、ハーヴァード大学で博士号を取得。ウォーリック大学講師、プリンストン大学助教授、ジョンズ・ホプキンズ大学准教授を経て、現職。2001年から2003年まで国際連合事務総長の顧問を務めた。妻のエイミー・ガットマンも政治学者で、ペンシルベニア大学第八代学長である。
1983年発表の論文 "Kant, Liberal Legacies, and Foreign Affairs" において「民主主義国同士は互いに戦争をしない」とする民主的平和論（democratic peace）を提唱した。
