国際医学団体協議会
国際医学団体協議会（こくさいいがくだんたいきょうぎかい）は、1949年にWHOとUNESCOが共同で設立した国際的学術団体。スイスのジュネーブに本部を置く非政府組織。英文の正式名称 Council for International Organization of Medical Sciences の頭文字を取り CIOMS と呼ばれることもある。
概要 編集
CIOMSは国際的な生物医学分野の研究促進を目的としている。
事業 編集
CIOMSは「ヒトを対象とした生物医学研究のための国際生命倫理ガイドライン」（International Ethical Guidelines for Biomedical Research involving Human Subject)を2002年に公表しWHOプログラムのもとで各国の言語に翻訳されている。1991年には「疫学研究のための国際的生命倫理ガイドライン」（International Guidelines for Ethical Review of Epidemiological Studies)が公表されている。
