== 特徴 ==
2008年、ゴトランド級潜水艦はスウェーデン海軍において運用される最も新しい潜水艦で対艦船、対潜水艦戦、哨戒、特殊任務や嫌い敷設の任務を主として設計されている。
自動化とコンピューターによる操舵により深度と進路を一人で運用できる。最小限の乗員で運用でき、運用コストを削減できる。
== アメリカ海軍へ貸与 ==
