2011年、当時14歳であったルークは、[[マイク・ポスナー]]の『Please Don't Go』を始めとするいくつかのカバー曲を自身のYouTubeチャンネルに投稿していた。同年4月、同じノーウェスト・クリスチャン・カレッジに通っていたマイケルとカラムと共にバンドを組み、ポピュラーソングのカバーを投稿し始める。12月にはドラマーのアシュトンが加入し、現在の形になった。
