He was a high school English teacher in Japan for 18 years, and after he finished high school teacher, he became a professor of Ashiya University in Japan who teaches Japanese martial art, mainly Karate and Iaido. He retired Ashiya University in 2011, he moved to Vienna, Austria and teaches Japanese martial arts.
