[[2016年]][[7月5日]]にはバージョンアップ版『'''鉄拳7 FATED RETRIBUTION'''』（てっけんセブン フェイティッド レトリビューション）が稼働開始。

 

 

== システム ==

本作ではアーケード向け対戦格闘ゲームとしては初めてとなる「店舗間のオンライン対戦」を実装した。使用キャラクターの段位を基準として、自分と同程度の腕前のプレイヤーとマッチングされる仕組みである。

 

ゲームシステムは従来のシステムに新システムが上乗せされた形となっている。『[[鉄拳6]]』と『鉄拳6BR』に登場したレイジシステムも引き継いでおり、レイジ状態から新たなシステムへも繋がる。

 

本作はCPU戦が全5ステージまでで今までの鉄拳シリーズと比べて大幅にステージが減っている。ステージのBGMはマッチポイントになると別のBGMになる。
