:::Thanks, I will use the autotranslated editmessage. I guess then the bot just needs a local userpage and it is ready to go?--Debenben(会話) 2018年12月23日 (日) 10:57 (UTC)
::::I can create 利用者:Texvc2LaTeXBot by translation from :m:User:Texvc2LaTeXBot if you are fine with that. As for whether this request will be approved, I am not a bureaucrat and so am unable to decide. However, my opinion is that you could try running your bot for 2-3 pages and show the output so there is a reference on whether the bot will run fine in jawiki.--ネイ(会話) 2018年12月23日 (日) 11:02 (UTC)
:::::ネイ Yes, that would be nice. Apart from not speaking Japanese I would have to use the bot account to circumvent the editfilter and using the bot account for normal editing is usually discouraged (maybe even strictly forbidden in some projects). I did 3 edits now. If I understand correctly I can do up to 200 edits as a test run and since there are 195 pages on the list this is currently sufficient (but it could be that with refined search algorithms or people adding more deprecated syntax we have to edit another 20 pages before the switch).--Debenben(会話) 2018年12月26日 (水) 22:59 (UTC)
