『オン・ツアー・ウィズ・エリック・クラプトン』（英語: On Tour with Eric Clapton）は、アメリカ合衆国の夫婦デュオ、デラニー&ボニーが「デラニー&ボニー&フレンズ」名義で1969年に録音、1970年に発表したライブ・アルバム。タイトル通り、エリック・クラプトンが参加したツアーのライブ音源を収録しており、クラプトンは後に、本作で共演したボビー・ウィットロック、カール・レイドル、ジム・ゴードンと共にデレク・アンド・ザ・ドミノスを結成している。

    本作は、デラニー&ボニーのアルバムとしては唯一アメリカのBillboard 200でトップ40入りを果たし、最高29位に達した[1]。

    背景 編集

    デラニー&ボニーは1969年にブラインド・フェイスのアメリカ・ツアーでオープニング・アクトを務め、当時ブラインド・フェイスのメンバーであったエリック・クラプトンと意気投合。ブラインド・フェイスが解散すると、クラプトンは本格的にデラニー&ボニーと活動を共にするようになった[5]。そして、クラプトンも参加した編成でヨーロッパ・ツアーを行い、本作にはクロイドン公演における演奏が収録された[6]。

    「プアー・イライジャ〜トリビュート・トゥ・ジョンソン（メドレー）」は、ロバート・ジョンソンに捧げられた内容[7]。クラプトンと共にギター・パートを担当したデイヴ・メイソン（英語版）は、自作の楽曲「オンリー・ユー・ノウ・アンド・アイ・ノウ」を提供しており、この曲はメイソンのソロ・アルバム『アローン・トゥゲザー』（1970年）にも収録された。「カミン・ホーム」はスタジオ録音されたヴァージョンがシングルとしてリリースされて[7]、全米84位[1]・全英16位に達した[2]。
