トニー・シュート

アントニーノ・ジョセフ・ジュニア （1952年12月30日 - ）は、1965年から活動しているアメリカのシンガー、ソングライター、レコードプロデューサー。 彼はリトルリバーバンドとプレイヤー両方のメンバー。 Sciutoは、特にBay City Rollers 、 Nick Kamen 、 BJ Thomas 、 Tina Turnerの曲を書いています。 彼はいくつかの映画のサウンドトラック曲を書き、日本でトップ10のヒットを記録。

若いころ 編集

8歳の時、ギターを母に求め、シングルを聞いて音楽の本を読んで独学で学ぶ。 1964年、彼はビートルズのコンサートに連れて行かれ、彼らの音楽を取り入れるようになる [1] 。10代の頃、彼は正式にギター、ピアノ、ボーカル、作曲のレッスンも受け、Peabody Instituteで音楽を学ぶ。

1965–1981 編集

1965年、ビートルズのニューヨークのアフィリエイトマネージャーであるナット・ヴァイスは、手入れのためにニューヨークに旅行するための「若いプロテジェ」として、 ブライアン・エプスタイン シュートを紹介した。 1975年、シュートはAmerican Song Festivalの彼の歌でさまざまなコンテストに参加し、優勝した。

1976年、SciutoはArista Recordsの DedicationアルバムにBay City Rollersによって録音された「My Lisa」という曲を得る [2] 。1979年、日本とオーストラリアで2つのトップ40ヒットを記録し、日本では西城秀樹 [3] 、オーストラリアではマークハンターが録音した「Island Nights」という歌を歌った。 [4]

1979年、Epic Recordsと契約し、1980年にリリースされたIsland Nightsアルバムは、タイトルトラックシングルとともに日本でトップ10に達した。 アルバムは作詞家のサミー・エゴリンと書かれ [5] 1981年、絶賛するために日本をツアーし、アメリカ音楽祭を開く [6]。

1986–1989 編集

SciutoとSammy Egorinは、1986年にEpic RecordsのDon JohnsonのアルバムHeartbeatに「Last Sound Love Makes」を提供 [7]。

1990–2001 編集

1990年、Sciutoは、 リトルリバーバンドのアルバムWorldwide Love [8]のタイトルトラックをドイツでの曲のチャートと共同制作。1990年から1997年までメンバーおよびピアニストとしてリトル・リバー・バンドに参加 [9]。

2002年–現在 編集

SciutoはBe My Radio 、 Live in Japan 、 Diamond In The Rough CDsを日本のCool Soundレーベルでリリース [10] 。Union of the Soulは2010年にリリース [11]。
