2015年のロードレース世界選手権は、FIMロードレース世界選手権の第67回大会となる。2年連続でタイトルを獲得したマルク・マルケスがディフェンディングチャンピオンとしてシーズンに臨んだ。

ホルヘ・ロレンソが最終戦に勝利し、自身3度目のMotoGPタイトルを獲得、世界タイトルの獲得は5度目。

10回目のタイトル獲得を狙うバレンティーノ・ロッシがシーズンを通してチャンピオンシップ争いをリードしたが、最終的にはヤマハ・モーター・レーシングのチームメイト、ホルヘ・ロレンソに逆転された[1]。ロレンソはMotoGPクラスで3度目、下位カテゴリーも加えると5度目のタイトル獲得となった[2]。

シーズン序盤、ロッシは開幕戦のカタールGPと第3戦のアルゼンチンGPで勝利した一方[3][4]、ロレンソは3戦連続で表彰台を逃した[2]。その後ロレンソは自身初の4連勝を飾って追い上げたが、ロッシは第8戦オランダGPで3勝目を挙げた[5]。ロレンソは第11戦チェコGPで5勝目を挙げ、チャンピオンシップでリードを取ったが[6]、ロッシも続くイギリスGPで勝利し、リードを奪い返した[7]。雨に見舞われたサンマリノGPではロレンソはクラッシュ、リタイアしたが[2]、一方のロッシは5位でフィニッシュした。ロッシは連続表彰台の記録を16まで伸ばしていたが、それも途切れた[8]。終盤5戦でロッシがロレンソの前でフィニッシュしたのは日本GPのみで、ロレンソはポイント差を縮めていった。サンマリノGP時点で23あったポイント差は、最終戦バレンシアGPまでに7に縮まった[9]。最終戦でロレンソはシーズン7勝目を挙げ[1]、一方のロッシは前戦のペナルティを受けて最後尾スタートから4位でフィニッシュした。結局ポイント差は逆転し、ロレンソはロッシに5ポイント差を付けてタイトルを獲得した[10]。

ランキング3位にはシーズン5勝を挙げたマルケスが入った。勝利数ではロッシを上回ったものの、6度のリタイアがヤマハの両ライダーとのタイトル争いから脱落させた。この他に勝利を挙げたライダーはマルケスのチームメイト、ダニ・ペドロサであった。ペドロサは腕上がりの手術のため序盤3戦を欠場し。復帰後は第7戦のカタルーニャGPでシーズン初の表彰台を獲得、シーズン終盤に2勝をあげた[11][12]。

シーズン概要 編集

ヤマハはロッシとロレンソで11勝を挙げ、レプソル・ホンダに200ポイント以上の差を付けてチームタイトルを獲得した[13]。マニファクチャラーズタイトルも52ポイント差を付けた[14]。スズキのマーベリック・ビニャーレスはIRTAカップを獲得し、総合ランキングでは12位となった[15][16]。オープンクラスではアヴィンティア・レーシングのエクトル・バルベラがタイトルを獲得し、総合ランキングは15位となった[15][16]。

なおMotoGPでは2009年からワンメイク供給していたブリヂストンがこの年を以って契約を終了 2016年からミシュランにチェンジする。

主要ライダーの衝突 編集

2015年シーズンはタイトル争いを繰り広げるライダー同士の、論争を引き起こす衝突がいくつか発生した。アルゼンチンGPではロッシとマルケスが最終ラップ前に接触[4]、ロッシはコースに留まったもののマルケスはリタイアとなった。レース後ロッシはマルケスを「オール・オア・ナッシング」ライダーだと語った[17]。ロッシとマルケスはアッセンでの最終ラップでも接触した。ロッシはグラベルにコースアウトしたがコースに復帰、そのまま優勝した。レースディレクターはこの接触をレーシングインシデントと見なした[5]。ミサノではロッシがロレンソの予選を妨害したとしてペナルティポイントが与えられた[18]。フィリップアイランドでロッシはマルケスがロレンソのタイトル獲得を助けていると非難し、マルケスはセパンのGP前に行われたプレスカンファレンスでこのクレームに反論した[19]。

シーズンで最も論議を呼んだ接触はセパンでの決勝で起きたロッシとマルケスの接触であった[12]。7周目のターン14でロッシはマルケスをコース外に押し出した。マルケスは転倒し、バイクに再び乗ってピットに戻ったが結局リタイアした。ロッシはそのまま3位でレースを終えた[12]。レース後にレースディレクターは接触の原因がロッシにあるとして彼にペナルティポイント3を与えた[20]。このためロッシは最終戦のバレンシアGPでグリッド最後尾からスタートすることとなった。表彰台でロレンソは不満を示すジェスチャーを表し、ペナルティが「不十分」だと訴えた[21]。ロッシはスポーツ仲裁裁判所（CAS）での仲裁を訴えたが、最終的にペナルティを受け入れた。ロレンソはバレンシアGPの週末にセパンでの行為に対して謝罪した[21]。ロッシはセパンでのマルケスとの接触に対して後悔の意を表した[22]。セパンでの接触の後、FIM会長ビト・イッポリトは一連の騒動 - レース後にマルケスの家族がイタリアのテレビレポーターに侮辱された件も含む[23] - に苦言を呈し、ロッシとマルケスの確執がバイク界を「汚染した」と表した[24][25]。そして、ドルナ社長カルメロ・エスペラータとイッポリトは個人的に面会し、バレンシアGP前のプレスカンファレンスを全てキャンセルした[22]。

バレンシア決勝はロレンソ、マルケス、ペドロサ、ロッシという順位になったが、ロッシはレース後にマルケスの走りに対して不満の意を表した[26]。

Moto2ではマルクVDSレーシングチームのエステベ・ラバトがディフェンディングチャンピオンとしてシーズンに臨んだ。ラバトは第14戦のアラゴンGPまでにトップから78ポイント差に付けていたが、左橈骨骨折のため欠場を余儀なくされた。タイトルはシーズン8勝を挙げたヨハン・ザルコが獲得した[93]。彼はフランス人ライダーとして最も成功したライダーとなった[94]。ザルコは352ポイントを獲得したが[95]、前シーズンラバトが獲得した346ポイントを超えて新記録となった。ラバトは負傷のため3戦を欠場し、ポンス・レーシングの新人アレックス・リンスに抜かれランキング3位となった。最終戦でラバトは優勝したが、リンスが2位に入ったため3ポイント上回った[95]。リンスはインディアナポリスGP[96]、オーストラリアGP[97]で勝利を挙げ、一方のラバトは3勝を挙げた[98][99]。

数少ないカレックス以外のユーザーで、スピードアップを使用したサム・ロウズが1勝を挙げて4位に入った[100]。5位にはスッターからカレックスに乗り換え、フランスGPで1勝を挙げたインターウェッテンのトーマス・ルティが入った[101]。6位は開幕戦カタールGPとヘレスでの2勝を挙げたジョナス・フォルガー[102][103]、7位はドイツGPで1勝を挙げたザビエル・シメオンが入った[104]。マニファクチャラーズタイトルはカレックスが危なげなく勝ち取った。カレックスは18戦中17戦で勝利し、ロウズがアメリカGPで勝利したことで完全優勝を妨げた。スピードアップが2位に入ったが、カレックスには200ポイント以上の差を付けられた。

Moto3 編集

前年チャンピオンのアレックス・マルケスはMoto2にステップアップした。シーズンはダニー・ケントがリードし、最終戦バレンシアGPに勝利したことで1977年のバリー・シーン以来のイギリス人ライダーによるタイトルを獲得した[133][134]。ケントはシーズン序盤4戦で3勝を挙げ、前半戦での最も低い成績は4位と、66ポイント差を付けてシーズンを折り返した。しかしながら、エネア・バスティアニーニ（グレシーニ・レーシング）とミゲル・オリベイラ（アジョ・モータースポーツ）が彼のリードを削っていった[135]。後半戦でケントが表彰台に上ったのはイギリスGPでの1回のみであった。オリベイラは6戦を残した時点でケントから110ポイント離されていたが、優勝4回、2位2回と最終戦までに猛追して僅差に詰め寄った[136]。結局最終戦ではオリベイラが優勝したが、ケントは9位に入って6ポイント差でタイトルを獲得した[137]。ケント、オリベイラ共にシーズンで6勝を挙げた[138]。オリベイラはポルトガル人ライダーとして初めて世界選手権で優勝を果たした[139]。バスティアニーニはケントから53ポイント差の3位となった。彼の勝利はサンマリノGPでの1勝のみであった[140]。

ロマーノ・フェナティはフランスGPで優勝[141]、ニッコロ・アントネッリはチェコGPと日本GPで2勝を挙げた[142][143]。両名がランキング4位を争ったが、最終戦ではこの両名にエフレン・バスケスが絡んでリタイア、フェナティが2ポイント差でアントネッリを抑えた[133]。この他のシーズン勝者は開幕戦で勝利したアレクシ・マスブー[144]と、インディアナポリスGPで勝利したリビオ・ロイであった[145]。ホルヘ・ナバッロはルーキー最上位の7位に入り、終盤5戦で表彰台を4回獲得した[133][146]。マニファクチャラーズタイトルはホンダが最軽量クラスで2001年以来のタイトルを獲得した[147]。ホンダは11勝を挙げ、全戦で表彰台を獲得、7戦を残してタイトルを確定し、2位のKTMに70ポイント以上の差を付けた。

エントリーリスト 編集

2015年からMoto3クラスに参加するエンジンマニファクチャラーは、構成パーツ一式を含む車台（ローリング・シャーシ）を供給しなければならない。各マニファクチャラーは1種類の自身による車台と、1種類のサードパーティーによる車台を提供する。性能部分として指定されたそれぞれのコンポーネント（車台、スイングアーム、燃料タンク、シート、車体およびサスペンション）は、シーズン単位で最大1回アップデートでき、そのメーカーのすべての顧客にとって、同時に利用が可能になるようにしなければならない[148]。

FIMは暫定エントリーリストを2014年10月23日に発表した[149]。改訂リストは2015年2月2日に発表された[150]。
