ジェラード・デランティ

ジェラード・デランティ（Gerard Delanty, 1960年 - ）は、イギリスの社会学者。サセックス大学社会学部教授。専門は、ヨーロッパ政治社会論、グローバル化の文化社会学、政治社会学。

共同体主義を、自由主義的共同体主義（リベラル・コミュニタリアニズム）、ラディカル多元主義、公民的共和主義、統治的共同体主義（ガヴァメンタル・コミュニタリアニズム）の四つに類型化した。

経歴編集

1960年、アイルランド生まれ。1987年、ユニバーシティ・カレッジ・コークで博士号取得。その間、ドイツ・フランクフルト大学に留学。ユニバーシティ・カレッジ・コーク講師を経て、1996年にリヴァプール大学に移り、2000年から同大学社会学教授。2007年9月より現職。
