解説360-degree eclipse twilight at Orin Junction, Wyoming - 02.jpg
English: A 360-degree twilight occurred at midday during the total solar eclipse on the high prairie at Orin Junction, Wyoming in 2017. While the moon covered the sun, the landscape was dimly lit by the sun's plasma atmosphere, or corona. This gave the illusion of the sun having set below the horizon in every direction, not just in the usual western sky. Full daylight resumed when the moon moved away from the sun. The Orin Junction rest area is at Exit 126 on Interstate 25, south of Douglas.
