Native, warm-season, erect annual or short-lived perennial herb or subshrub to 1.5 m tall. Leaves have 20–60 pairs of leaflets; the leaflets are linear, 3–10 mm long, usually <1 mm wide and hairless. Petioles are 2–5 mm long and have a sessile discoid gland 0.5–0.9 mm diam. Stipules are long-pointed and 4–10 mm long. Flowerheads are auxillary and 1–3-flowered. Flowers are 5-petalled, yellow, with 4, 5, 8 or 9 stamens; anthers are irregular in size. Pods are 4–8 cm long, 4–5 mm wide and appressed-pubescent. Grows in sclerophyll forest, roadside bush and hilly country on a variety of soils on the North Coast, NSW.
