'''山越 富夫'''（やまこし とみお、米国名:トミオ・ヤマコシ・ペトロスキー<small>''Tomio Yamakoshi Petrosky''</small>、[[1947年]][[3月30日]] - ）は、[[アメリカ合衆国]]の物理学者。父は[[アメリカ人]]、母は[[日本人]]である。[[東京都立国立高等学校]]、[[東京理科大学]]卒業。専門は、非平衡統計物理学、時間の向きの対称性の破れ、複雑系、カオス、量子論及び古典力学の基礎論、ナノ物性、天体力学。1979年東京理科大学理学研究科で博士号取得後、[[イリヤ・プリゴジン]]に師事。プリゴジンが2003年に死去するまで、本人の論文のみならず、プリゴジンとの共著論文も多く出している。
