== 沿革 ==
1750年、地元出身の画家[[ジョヴァンニ・バッティスタ・ピアツェッタ]]により創設された「[[ヴェネツィア美術アカデミー]]」(Accademia di belle arti di Venezia)が起こり。1807年にナポレオン支配下にて{{仮リンク|フォンテゲット・デッラ・ファリーナ|it|Fonteghetto della Farina}}から移された<ref>{{Citation|last1=Sciré|first1=Giovanna Nepi|last2=Elia|first2=Giulio Manieri|last3=ROssi|first3=Sandra|translator=Coward, Ivor Neil., Curtis, Aaron., Holland, Nicolas., Sadleir, Richard.|title=The Accademia Galleries in Venice - General Catalogue|publisher=Electa|isbn=978-8837064723|date=2013|page=8}}</ref>。1817年から一般に公開されるようになった。現在では14世紀から18世紀までの[[ヴェネツィア派]]絵画を中心にコレクションしている。特に、ヴェネツィア派の第一世代を代表する[[ジョヴァンニ・ベリーニ]]や、その弟子[[ジョルジョーネ]]の最高傑作『[[テンペスタ]]』、そしてヴェネツィアの三大画家とされる[[ティツィアーノ]]、[[ティントレット]]、[[パオロ・ヴェロネーゼ]]の代表作が見られる。
