===SI国際文書===
CIPMには、[[国際単位系]]の正式な定義書である「SI国際文書」(SI Brochure)を制作させする責任がある。この文書は、CCUが他の多くの国際機関とともに作成している。当初、このSI国際文書の第1版(1970年)～第4版(1981年)までの版はメートル条約の公用語である[[フランス語]]版のみであったが、最近の第5版で(1985年)以降は英語と、フランス語で版と英語版が同時に公表されており<ref>[https://www.bipm.org/en/publications/si-brochure/ Previous editions of the SI Brochure] SI Brochure: The International System of Units (SI), BIPM</ref>、最新版は第9版（2019年）である<ref>[https://www.bipm.org/en/publications/si-brochure/ The International System of Units - 9th edition - Complete brouchure] SI Brochure: The International System of Units (SI), BIPM</ref>。公式な文書は第9版（2019年）文書の前半部分のフランス語版である。第6版は1991年に<ref>{{cite journal
