自由の喊声
自由の喊声（じゆうのかんせい、英: Battle Cry of Freedom）は、アメリカの作曲家ジョージ・フレデリック・ルート（George Frederick Root）によって、南北戦争中の1862年に作詞された歌である。邦題として、解放の喊声と表記される場合もある。北軍が愛国歌として提唱したことにより、この歌は人気を博した。また、作曲家H. L. Schreiner と作詞家W. H. Barnesがアメリカ連合国用に改作され、南軍でも使用された。 北軍バージョンの曲は、1864年のアメリカ合衆国大統領選挙において、エイブラハム・リンカーン大統領候補およびアンドリュー・ジョンソン副大統領候補の選挙運動に使用された。 この歌は大人気となり、楽曲出版社は一度に14台の印刷機で楽譜の印刷を行ったが、需要に追いつかなかった。最終的には、この歌の楽譜は推計70万部以上が流通するに至った。チャールズ・アイヴズは、自身の作品の一つの愛国歌「They Are There」において、この歌を引用している。
