As seen in this discussion, we have concluded that the Japanese Wikipedia should avoid vector versions of Steamboat Willie because the copyright law is very different from that in the US. The film is public domain in Japan, but there is a small but non-negligible possibility that the copyright of the character design of Micky Mouse has not yet expired in Japan. --さえぼー（会話） 2024年1月4日 (木) 15:20 (UTC)
