2016年のスーパースポーツ世界選手権は、F.I.M.が主催するスーパースポーツ世界選手権の第18回目のシーズン。600ccから750ccの排気量を持つ市販車をベースにした車両で争われる。

ケナン・ソフォーグルが5度目のタイトルを獲得した[1]。フル参戦したライダーの一部は世界選手権の順位を考慮し、FIMヨーロッパ・スーパースポーツカップのためヨーロッパラウンドのみ戦い、アクセル・バッサーニがカップを獲得した[2][3]。
