概要

ブリーダーズカップを参考に、アルゼンチンジョッキークラブが1992年に創設した国際競走。総賞金は1920万アルゼンチンペソで、距離は2000m。

世界でも類を見ない、施行条件が固定されていない重賞競走であり、パレルモ競馬場で開催される際はダート、サンイシドロ競馬場で開催される際は芝で施行される。

施行日が7月以降の場合は、出走条件がサラブレッド4歳以上に変更される。
