ブロスル・ハシュラヒャー

ブロスル・ハシュラヒャー（Brosl Hasslacher、1941年5月13日 - 2005年11月11日）は理論物理学者。

1962年にハーバード大学で物理学の学士を取得した。ニューヨーク州立大学ストーニーブルック校でD.Z. フリーマン、楊振寧とともに研究し博士号を取得した。プリンストン高等研究所、カリフォルニア工科大学、パリのENS、CERNなどいくつかのポスドクおよび研究職の後、ロスアラモス国立研究所の理論部門に20年以上所属した。そこでは理論物理学、高エネルギー物理学、非線形動力学、流体力学、ナノテクノロジー、ロボット工学の理論的、実験的、数値的研究に携わっていた。

1970年代、A. ヌヴーと協力して拡張ハドロンモデルに取り組んだ。

1980年代、Uriel Frisch、Yves Pomeauとともに流体流の離散シミュレーションのための格子気体法を開拓した。

ロスアラモス国立研究所の非線形研究センターの1つとして、ミッチェル・ファイゲンバウムとともにカオス理論に貢献した。

1990年代、バイオモルフエンジニアリングに関するいくつかの論文でマーク・ティルデンとともに研究を行った。ティルデンのBEAMロボティクスを記述し設計するために非線形動力学を使用することに大きく貢献を残した。

1994年、ハシュラヒャーのロスアラモス研究所のUNIXアカウント(bhass)が、コンピュータセキュリティの専門家下村努のコンピュータに侵入するためにハッカーのケビン・ミトニックにより使用された。

2003年にロスアラモス研究所を退職した。
