ロドルフ・ガシェ

ロドルフ・ガシェ（Rodolphe Gasché, 1938年、ルクセンブルク - ）は、ニューヨーク州立大学バッファロー校のエウジェニオ・ドナート比較文学教授[1] 。

略歴 編集

ガシェはベルリン自由大学で博士号を取得し、同大学で教鞭をとった。現職のニューヨーク州立大学バッファロー校に着任する前には、ジョンズ・ホプキンス大学で教えていた[1]。

研究 編集

研究キャリアの初期に、ガシェはジャック・デリダの主要著作をドイツ語に翻訳した。パリから離れボルチモアのジョンズ・ホプキンス大学に職を得て以後、ガシェは雑誌『Glyph』に画期的な論文を掲載する若い研究者グループの一人に数えられていた。『The Tain of the Mirror 』（Cambridge, MA: 1986）はジャック・デリダの思想を哲学的伝統（特に現象学）の中に位置づける仕事であった。
