番洋

番 洋(ばん ひろし)は1943年7月25日生まれの石川県金沢市出身の日本人画家。

宮本三郎に師事し、警察官時代に襲撃されて失ってしまった視力のハンデを乗り越え、隻眼の画家として国内外で活躍し数々の賞を受賞。

独自の心象風景の表現など独創性のある表現空間が高い評価を得ている日本の洋画家。

昨今では、自身の作品を唯一無二のデジタル化NFTアートとして販売するなど、NFTという新たな分野に挑戦し続ける番洋の作品に期待が高まっている。

Hiroshi Ban, born July 25, 1943, is a Japanese painter from Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.

He studied painting under Saburo Miyamoto and overcame the handicap of his eyesight, which he lost in an attack while he was a police officer, to become active both in Japan and abroad as a one-eyed painter, winning numerous awards.

He is a Japanese Western-style painter who is highly acclaimed for his originality and space of expression, including his unique expression of emotional landscapes.

Recently, there are high expectations for Hiroshi Ban's art works as he continues to challenge the new field of NFT, such as selling his own works as the one and only digitized NFT art.
