NRG Esports（エヌアールジー・イースポーツ、略称：NRG）は、アメリカ合衆国・カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルスに本拠を置くeスポーツ組織。

概要 編集

2015年11月16日、アンディ・ミラーとマーク・マストロフによって、NRG Esportsが設立された[1]。2016年3月にアレックス・ロドリゲス、シャキール・オニール、ジミー・ロリンズ、2018年4月にティエストがNRGの投資家として加わる[2][3]。2017年8月、Northern Gamingを買収し、ストリーマーのソーダポッピンが共同所有者になった[4][5]。2020年8月24日、コンテンツ制作とマーチャンダイジングを支援してもらうため、short studioと提携[6]。2023年4月、Counter Logic Gamingを買収し、League Championship Seriesに復帰した[7][8]。

2015年 編集

  • 11月16日、Team CoastのLCS枠を獲得し、『League of Legends』のチームとしてNRG Esportsを設立[1]。

2016年 編集

  • 1月23日、『CS:GO』部門を設立[9][10]。
  • 8月3日、元Luminosity Gamingのメンバーを迎え、『Overwatch』部門を設立[11][12]。
  • 8月11日、『League of Legends』部門が解散[13]。
  • 10月1日、Kings of Urbanの『Rocket League』部門を買収し、部門設立[14]。

  • 11月28日、『Counter-Strike』部門を設立[26]。
  • 12月1日、『Overwatch』部門（サンフランシスコ・ショック）が解散[27]。

Counter-Strike 編集

初期の部門は2016年1月に設立されたが、Evil Geniusesへの移籍に伴い2019年9月に解散[9][21]。2023年11月に部門が復活した[26]。
