政治的マルクス主義
政治的マルクス主義（Political Marxism, しばしばPMと略される）は、封建主義から資本主義への移行に関する論争においてのマルクス主義的分析モデルの没歴史性に対する批判として発展してきたものであり、形式主義を批判し、社会的エージェンシーや闘争主体としての階級をマルクス主義の中心に据え直そうとするものである。この文脈で、マルクス主義のプロジェクトを再歴史化・再政治化する独自のアプローチとして、政治的マルクス主義の基礎をととのえたのは、ロバート・ブレナーとエレン・メイクシンズ・ウッドである。政治的マルクス主義は、構造主義および目的論的歴史解釈を批判し、抗争的過程と生きられた実践として歴史的個別性を捉えることを志向する。
政治的マルクス主義の研究プログラムは、社会科学を横断して広がるものであり、そこには歴史学、政治理論、政治経済学、社会学、国際関係論、国際政治経済学が含まれる。
